Our client, an industry leading Heavy Civil construction firm, is now hiring an experienced Project Manager to be based out of their Salt Lake City office and run projects throughout the area. An ideal candidate would have 10+ years experience managing Heavy Civil construction projects from cradle to grave, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Primavera P6, a 4 year technical degree, and be computer literate.

Will manage the complete project from cradle to grave, managing a Project Engineer and field staff in the successful and safe construction of the project.

Management of the daily, weekly and monthly costs vs. budgets, oversight of the projects schedule, subcontractors and all correspondence to the owner, typically UDOT.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in the Heavy Civil construction arena, 5+ in a Management capacity
  • Experience with excavation, underground and concrete structures
  • Familiarity with industry software's such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with public and private projects
  • 4 Year Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field

Must have experience with the following:

  • Submittals
  • Change orders and claims
  • RFIs
  • Pay applications
  • Purchase Orders
  • Project costs, budgets and quantities
  • General overall correspondence
  • SWPPP plans and maintenance of same

Compensation:

  • $90-120k, DOE
