JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a $200M/yr full service Heavy Civil Contractor with a national reputation for quality and safety, is currently looking for a Dirt Estimator for the greater Denver area.
YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY
The Estimator must have experience in mass excavation, fine grade, rock and asphalt paving. They will perform quantity takeoffs, creates estimates and produces proposals. The Estimator will also prepare cost estimates by analyzing requests for proposals, reviewing bid instructions, blueprints, specifications, and related bid documents. Works with subcontractors and vendors to obtain proposal pricing to incorporate in the bid estimate.

BACKGROUND PROFILE
Expertise in mass excavation/earthwork/grading
2+ years’ experience in material take-off
Exposure to Agtek takeoff software and Heavy Bid
BS Degree or equivalent experience
