Established California general contractor looking to expand. They are based in California, but work in Nevada, Washington and California. Currently they have 15+ jobs under construction and have several more projects coming in auto dealerships, office, restaurant and retail. They have a solid portfolio of projects after being in the business for the past 20+ years. They are extremely client focused and have only been limited lately by the amount of quality employees they have to get out and build them. They have a proven team in preconstruction, estimating and construction that has helped them gain market share and improve their offerings to their current client base.
Experienced Superintendents needed for large ground up dealership, office, restaurant and retail projects in California, Nevada and Washington. Candidates must not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years . Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of experience managing commercial projects from $5M to over $40M. The average project with this firm is going to be between $20-$35M. Experience with a self-performing contractor is a must along with strong organizational skills. Superintendents must feel comfortable creating and managing their own schedules. Experience and desire to be involved with the projects from cradle to grave is desirable. Candidate must have the ability to direct and have strong leadership skills and ability to work with the clients directly.
Two or Four Year College Degree in Construction Management/Engineering field.
Five or more years of commercial construction experience on large ground up projects in commercial construction.
Team Player with strong work ethic and a motivational “Fire”.
Skill in managing multiple projects with precision and speed.
$95,000 - $130,000 salary + production incentives + per diem
