Opportunity :

An emerging leader in the multi-family/residential construction industry is looking for Project Managers & Superintendents for their Texas and New Mexico offices. A young firm, they’ve grown to doing over $200M annually. They’re looking for motivated and experienced multi-family/residential Superintendents and Project Managers to help them with several large projects. They currently have four large $25-$45M wood framed projects in process averaging 120-150 units. Due to their size and how well they’re producing in the market there is a great opportunity for growth and a leadership role in each of these offices. The majority of their projects are with repeat clients. An established safety & quality program that involves all of their superintendents provides a long term approach to building. The majority of their work is sub-contracted out so experience getting the most out of sub-contractors is a must as well as maintaining an aggressive schedule. They provide excellent design/build and preconstruction services along with a focus on sustainability with several LEED platinum projects. Candidates should have a focus on not only building great projects, but also creating excellent relationships with internal employees, sub-contractors, and other vendors.


Position : Immediate needs for a residential/multi-family Superintendent and Project Manager in two offices located in New Mexico and Texas to help with large ongoing projects. This is not a one project hire, but an ongoing long term position. Client will wait for a good candidate based on experience, but could hire and put you to work next week. Experience with wood-framing and projects over $25M is a major plus. Must be able to meet face to face with clients, hold effective meetings with sub-contractors and own the projects from start to finish. Creating an excellent environment with open communication is essential. The successful candidate will have experience with coordinating all construction activities on large commercial projects. Candidates must have experience creating value, creating and managing their own CPM schedules, and effectively managing large crews. A proven track record of not only work history but project success is essential. Candidates who are "jumpy" or have moved around and worked with several firms and have not shown long term commitment need not apply. Experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments and follow a project from preconstruction through punch-list
